Episode 16 – Game Environments

Anne’s back after her birthday break, and so we talk about Kaboom!’s Adventure Time comic, A Field Guide to the Aliens of Star Trek: The Next Generation – Season One, a potential Back to the Future musical¬†(no, really, that’s an actual thing being planned), the first Last of Us screenshots, Notch’s Twitter offer to fund Psychonauts 2 and The Amazing Spiderman trailer.

Then it’s on to the topic of the week: game environments. From the slums of City 17 to the back alleys of Assassin’s Creed: Revelations’ Constantinople to the meat markets of Mass Effect’s Citadel, we talk about some of the more well-realized videogame worlds we’ve experienced.
